Cconnect is a collection of tools that provide a method of tracking
concurrent connection of users and monitoring which computers users are
logged onto. Cconnect:
- Is completely hidden from the end user’s view.
- Keeps track of all Computer’s that user’s are logged into.
- Allows con-current connection limitations to be set on a per-user/group basis.
- Stores information in a SQL database assigned by the Administrator.
- Tracks the last known user of the computer.
- Monitors which logon server users are logging onto.

ClusterSentinel

Common Open Policy Service Local Policy Module (CopsLpm.exe)

The COPS (Common Open Policy Service) LPM (Local Policy Module) enables a COPS-based Policy Server to provide admission control decisions to a Windows 2000 ACS (Admission Control Service) for RSVP (Resource Reservation Protocol) requests. The ACS acts as the logical gatekeeper for RSVP message propagation across the network. With the COPS LPM installed on the ACS, the RSVP requests are passed to the COPS Policy Server for admission control decisions. The COPS LPM communicates with the COPS Policy Server using the COPS protocol.

that gathers large amounts of data about a website from a
configuration file "Httpmon.ini". It is designed to provide

IIS Migration Wizard
(Server Only)
The IIS Migration Wizard migrates Web server configuration settings,
MIME type information, and content to a computer running Windows
2000 Server with IIS 5.0 from another computer running:
- Windows NT Server with Netscape Enterprise Server 3.5.1.
- UNIX with Apache HTTP Server 1.3.
- Windows NT Server with IIS 4.0.
- Windows 2000 Server with IIS 5.0 (you can use this feature to
replicate an IIS Web server to another computer).
The IIS Migration Wizard also migrates users and groups from Netscape
Enterprise Server 3.5 to IIS 5.0.

Media Load Simulator

Organizations are building high-capacity servers and server clusters
to serve the increasing demand for streaming media. Before these
systems are put into production, the servers should be load-tested
with Microsoft Windows Media Load Simulator version 4.0 to determine
how many users can be served and to verify system stability. Windows
Media Load Simulator creates a real-world load on a server by
simulating Microsoft Windows Media Player connections; the load-test
results on the server can be viewed in a log. Windows Media Load
Simulator is designed to run on one or more client computers to
simulate a large number of client requests.

The Metabase Editor (MetaEdit) is a tool for editing IIS configuration,
or Metabase, files. Similar in functionality to the Windows 2000
Registry Editor, MetaEdit allows you to browse and modify attributes
in the Metabase. Note that in using MetaEdit, you can make changes
that may damage your IIS configuration. Be sure to edit all
entries carefully.

Run Shell Extension (Runext.exe)

This Windows 2000 shell extension adds a Run command
to the context menu for files that are right-clicked in Windows
Explorer. Selecting Run from the menu opens the Run
dialog box with the file's path name set in the Open field.
The cursor is set immediately after the filename to allow the
quick entry of parameters for that application. (To install,
right-click Runext.inf in Windows Explorer, and then click
Install).

Web Capacity Analysis Tool

The Microsoft Web Capacity Analysis Tool (WCAT) runs simulated workloads
on client-server configurations. Using WCAT, you can test how your Internet
Information Server and network configuration respond to a variety of
different client requests for content, data, or Hypertext Markup
Language (HTML) pages. The results of these tests can be used to determine
the optimal server and network configuration for your computer running
Microsoft Windows 2000 Server with Microsoft Internet Information Server
(IIS). WCAT is specially designed to evaluate how Internet servers running
Windows 2000 Server and Internet Information Server respond to various
client workload simulations.

The Windows Report Tool (Winrep.exe) is an Internet-based problem reporting tool that is installed with Windows 2000. Windows Report Tool collects information about a client computer that can be used by technical support personnel to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
